We just read an article about being either a digital native or an immigrant. Sadly I have discovered that I am in the same boat as my mother and my mother-in-law. We are all in the boat that is coming from another country where there is no technology and we are crossing the ocean into the land of the unknown! We are all immigrants trying to cross over and become citizens of a brand new world! Now, I hate that I have to say I am in the same boat as my elders, no woman wants to admit that she is turning into her mother, but I think we come from a similar place in time. A time without texting, computers, video games and tablets. It was truly an easier place and time to be in!
I am feeling overwhelmed with all this new technology out there, and I'm not talking about using a fancy phone or computer. I think I have that down pat! I mean the vast world of the internet. Yes, I know what the internet is, and yes I can find just about anything I need out there, but there is a whole other dimension that I am entering into, and I am feeling stressed!
